Control personalized advertising in the App Store, Apple News and the Stock app

Learn how to limit Apple personalized advertising on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac, and how to turn off Apple location-based advertising on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac.

Ads served by Apple help users discover apps, products, and services while protecting their privacy. For the delivery of personalized advertising, Apple uses user data to serve ads that are more relevant to the user. Learn more about the data Apple uses to deliver advertisements and how it protects your privacy.

If you don't want to receive personalized advertising, you can turn off the personalized advertising setting on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac. This may not reduce the number of ads you receive, but they will be less relevant to you. You can also opt out of location-based advertising on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac.
